This course - Nutrient Cycling, modelling and management - is designed for MSc. students taking MSc. in Land and Water Management, and MSc. Management of Agroecosystems and Environment. The nutrient cycling, Modelling and management will be studied in the context of ecosystems in general and agroecosystems in particular.
Students who are graduates of BSc. Management of Agroecosystems and Environment will relate this course to another undergraduate course on modelling of agroecosystems. The undergraduate course will thus lay the foundation upon which this course will be build on. Students from other programs are encouraged to audit the said course.
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will gain knowledge and skills that are paramount in the management of agroecosystems for increased agricultural productivity and secured livelihoods.
