Radiology III is geared towards the learner consolidating their knowledge in all the fields on Radiology. The current concepts in imaging and radiology practice as well as advanced and emerging fields in Radiology are emphasized. 

Radiology III PART A consists of the following five topics: Review of best practices in Radiology, oncologic imaging, Interventional radiology, tropical radiology and nuclear medicine.

PART B: comprises well defined competencies in all the fields of Radiology

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the learner should  be able to:

  1. Implement radiation protection principles, dose monitoring and diagnostic reference levels (DRLs)
  2. Apply evidence-based imaging protocols in radiology practice.
  3. Demonstrate knowledge in advanced concepts of imaging including contrast ultrasound, spectroscopy and functional MRI and molecular imaging.
  4. Implement the principles of interventional radiology and intervention options in various disease processes.
