The main aim of this course is to lay a strong foundation of thermodynamics which provides the basic understanding of all chemical processes. This course, also called Physical Chemistry 4 consists of a continuation of thermodynamics and an introduction to phase equilibrium. A prerequisite to this cause is SCH 203: physical chemistry 1 which basically covered the FIRST LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS. You are advised to review the concepts covered under the mentioned law to enable easy continuity.
