SCH 203 (Thermodynamics  and Thermochemistry) is a course which is key in Science and Engineering . Thermodynamics is a practical science and basically deals with Heat, Work and Energy.

In this course you will deal with various types of systems in thermodynamics and will be able to compute heat  and work associated with these systems.

Thermodynamic state and path functions will be looked into including  the  application of calculus to compute their values.

In addition detailed discussions on irreversible, reversible, adiabatic irreversible and adiabatic reversible work will be discussed and expressions for computing work thereof discussed.

The relationship between thermodynamic state functions and  and thermochemical observables, which forms the basis of thermochemistry will be discussed.

Elemental aspects of the Carnot cycle will be discussed.
